The DMV's premier rockin' swing band, The Thrills “Spine Tingling Rock n’ Roll" fills dance floors throughout the area. We're Thrilled (pun intended) to add triple threat Bill Starks to this show to replace Johnny.

Bill Starks is an electrifying keyboardist, singer, and songwriter. He has won multiple Wammie awards for his songwriting and for his huge contributions to bands like Ruthie & The Wranglers. He's also a standout performer on most of the fabulous Bandhouse Gigs shows around the area and has 2 amazing solo albums.

The Thrills are led by uber-talented singer-songwriter Dave Kitchen's sweet and powerful vocals along with his potent guitar work. Andy Rutherford adds his fiery, sometimes humorous guitar chops to the mix. Brian Alpert (drums) and John Combs (bass) are the swinginest rhythm section around and are the engine that drives and swings the band and dancers. Put 'em together and you've got a band that turns heads and fills the dance floor.

The Thrills band members are multi WAMMIE award winners who have played with a who's who of DMV bands (Danny Gatton, The Thrillbillys, Ruthie and the Wranglers, Evan Johns and the H-Bombs, Tex Rubinowitz, just to name a few!)
