Newmyer Flyer’s Everly Brothers Tribute has packed houses at venues like The Barns at Wolf Trap, Gypsy Sally’s, and The Birchmere since its debut in 2014. We decided this song-filled show — packed with classics that make you want to get up and dance — would be even more fun as An Everly Brothers Dance Party, and there’s no better place to launch it than Hank Dietle’s. Let’s rock!

A strong case can be made that the Everly Brothers are the most important vocal duo in rock history. The Beatles, along with countless other artists, have acknowledged the influence the Everlys had on their harmonies and vocal sound. The Everlys charted more than 20 Top Ten hits, including “Cathy’s Clown,” “Wake Up Little Susie,” “When Will I Be Loved,” “Price of Love,” “Walk Right Back,” “Gone Gone Gone,” “Claudette,” “All I Have to Do Is Dream,” “’Til I Kissed You,” “Love Hurts,” and “Bye Bye Love.” In 1986, the Everly Brothers were inducted into the inaugural class of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame alongside Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Elvis Presley, Ray Charles, and Buddy Holly.
