Ferguson and Ferguson

Gary Gene Ferguson - A longtime resident of southeastern Pennsylvania, Gary Gene Ferguson is a singer, songwriter and guitarist who has been a mainstay of the bluegrass and Americana scenes since the 1980s.

Gary's songs have been recorded by artists like Billy Strings, Bryan Sutton, Infamous String Dusters, Larry Sparks, Missy Raines, Bill Emerson, Cliff Waldron, Jeff Brown and Red Wine from Italy. His most famous song being “Last Day at Gettysburg”, which has been done around the world.

Gary Allen Ferguson is a native of Fredericksburg, Virginia who now lives in the Washington, D.C. area, is a singer, songwriter and versatile multi-instrumentalist whose music blends a variety of influences into his own style of roots music. He plays acoustic and electric guitar, mandolin, upright bass, electric bass, keyboards and percussion instruments and is a member of the group the Hulamonsters. 



 Big Howdy 

A DC-based progressive bluegrass band featuring the duet singing of Dede Wyland and Randy Barrett. The group offers a mix of original songs plus reinterpretations of classic country, bluegrass and roots material. Dede is a nationally recognized vocalist while Randy is a well-established singer songwriter and banjoist. Together with Ira Gitlin on bass and Tom McLaughlin on mandolin, Big Howdy sounds unlike any other band. And that's the way they like it.
