Local Cream has become one of the area’s most beloved songwriter showcases, bringing some of the best local and regional original artists to the historic stage at Hank Dietle’s Tavern.

Held on the first Wednesday of every month and curated by acclaimed DMV singer-songwriter Annette Wasilik, each edition features a handpicked lineup of writers sharing the stories, songs, and craft behind their music in the kind of close, welcoming listening-room setting that makes every performance feel personal.

From Americana, folk, country, blues, and roots music to original songs that defy easy labels, Local Cream is a chance to discover the exceptional songwriting talent right here in the DMV and surrounding region.
