It’s been a minute—but the wait is over. One Thin Dime, the blues-rock outfit that lit up the local scene in the ‘90s, is back for one special evening at Hank Dietle’s Tavern in Rockville, MD. Mark your calendar for Friday, June 6, and catch them live from 5:00 to 7:30 PM.

Formed in Beltsville, Maryland in 1991, One Thin Dime brought together the raw heart of blues and the edge of rock ‘n’ roll, with a sound influenced by Muddy Waters, Slim Harpo, Nick Lowe, Janis Joplin and the Ramones. With deep roots in Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties, the six-piece band became known for their sharp original tunes and spirited live shows that pulled people in from the first downbeat.

Core members Bob Felesky, Charles Havekost, Mary Shaver, Paul Jones, and Steve Levine were the soul of the band—each bringing a unique flavor that, together, created a sound both timeless and unmistakably their own. Along the way, they shared the stage with blues heavyweights like Sue Foley, Mem Shannon, and the late great William Clarke, leaving their mark on stages like Tornado Alley in Wheaton, MD.

Now, One Thin Dime is reuniting for one night only, bringing that same energy, soul, and spirit back to where it all began. Don’t miss this chance to see a local legend live—June 6 at Hank Dietle’s. The blues are back.
