Ruthie and the Wranglers an incredible night of guitar twang, honky-tonk piano, clever originals, and retro favorites—all powered by rich harmonies and infectious energy. The Wranglers—Ruthie Logsdon, Andy Rutherford, Bill Starks, Arch Alcantara, and Tom Fridrich—have been a cornerstone of the DC roots scene for over three decades. Their sound blends revved up Americana Country usually laced with a surf instrumental or whiskey-soaked ballad, described as “Loretta Lynn meets the Ramones at a Dick Dale party.”
With seven albums and over 30 Wammie Awards, their catalog has earned praise from Billboard as “nothing short of brilliant.”

It’s a lively Roots Rock and Roll stew—rockabilly with a side of jump blues, early R&B, and a dash of soul. Led by powerhouse vocalist Terri Burroughs, the Cats bring together a lineup of seasoned pros: Jason Byrd (guitar), Jerry del Rosso (bass), and Nick Ruggieri (guest drummer). Expect danceable tunes and timeless grooves inspired by legends like Wanda Jackson, Ruth Brown, Ray Charles, and Patsy Cline.
Formed in 2016, the band’s chemistry and charisma make for an irresistibly fun night of music that feels both vintage and fresh.
