Eric Scott Trio‍ ‍

Eric Scott • Dan Leonard • Deren Blessman

Washington, DC singer/songwriter and bassist Eric Scott brings his acclaimed Modern Soul sound to the stage with the Eric Scott Trio.

An 18-time Wammie Award winner, Scott has toured internationally and performed with artists including B.B. King, Mavis Staples, Aaron Neville, REO Speedwagon, and Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters. His original music has appeared on major television networks and in film, while his powerful, gospel-infused voice has been featured in national advertising campaigns.

The Trio celebrates Scott’s newest release: 10 original songs that blend irresistible pop hooks with contemporary R&B, deep funk, rock, blues, and soul. Expect sharp songwriting, big grooves, heartfelt vocals, and music that is upbeat, socially aware, and deeply personal.

After six independently released solo albums, Eric Scott continues to create honest, soulful music shaped by a remarkable life and a broad musical vocabulary—from Marvin Gaye and Carole King to Dave Brubeck and Black Sabbath.

Come experience one of the DC area’s most compelling singer/songwriters and bassists in an intimate live setting.
