• Walt Wilkins is a revered Texas songwriter, producer, poet, and troubadour, often called “the songwriter’s songwriter.” His music weaves Texas country, acoustic rock, blues, and folk into deeply human stories, and his songs have been recorded by artists like Pat Green, Cory Morrow, Kenny Rogers, Ricky Skaggs, Ty Herndon, and many more. After years writing in Nashville and producing records in Austin, he’s widely regarded as a spiritual heir to Guy Clark and Townes Van Zandt.
