Little Red & The Renegades

Austin, Texas music critic Lee Nichols:  “Little Red’s sound....is just flat out fun-it's an exuberant celebration of everything wonderful about American music.”  Little Red's been keeping the DMV smiling and dancing since your first fake ID.  Like Clifton Chenier’s zydeco, Red’s music blends the music he’s heard and played, chank-a-chank, blues, country, funk, conjunto and the flavors of the Caribbean.  Not to mention some plain old fun rock & roll.  Break out the dancing shoes and let loose.

 Little Red has appeared with Dr. John, Buckwheat Zydeco, Nathan Williams & the Zydeco Cha Chas, Chubby Carrier, Queen Ida, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Lightnin’ Hopkins, Brave Combo, and many others.  We’ve played large stages and small clubs, but home is the dance floor in a DMV bar.  We’re thrilled to be back at Hank Dietles!
