Jazz guitarist, bassist, and composer Joshua Bayer brings a modern, post-bop–infused sound shaped by performances at The Kennedy Center, Blues Alley, and major festivals, and by collaborations with artists such as Gary Thomas and Ron Holloway. Bayer, Musician in Residence and director of AU Jazz Studies at American University, appears at Hank Dietle’s Tavern with Mark Lysher on bass and Larry Ferguson on drums.
