Freddy Gang
The recent Walt Whitman High School graduates in eclectic pop quartet Freddy Gang (Eli Blanks on lead vocals and keyboards, Gideon Helf on guitar and vocals, Joe Kaplan on bass and vocals,
and Josh Lieberman on drums) are back from their first semester in college and ready to rock Hank Dietle’s! The band will be playing one long set of originals from their June 2021 debut record, as
well as some choice covers. Come out and learn why the Gang are described as “your uncle’s favorite new band.”
Jojomber
Joseph Minde-Berman, also known as Jojomber, is a 19 year old singer-songwriter from Yellow Springs Ohio. He draws inspiration from pop, rock, and folk to create a unique strain of music capturing the angst, uncertainty, love and heartbreak experienced as a teenager growing up in a small town in Ohio. At the center of most of his compositions is a ukulele, paired with honest lyrics and catchy melodies. Signed at 17 with Athens' own Brick City Records, he is the youngest person contracted to create an EP through their label. Since graduating high school in 2021, Minde-Berman has moved to New York City to major in Recorded Music at NYU's Clive Davis Institute.
