Brandon Wayne & His Lonesome Drifters

Central Virginia's finest up-and-coming rockabilly band brings a hot, danceable mix of 1940s-50s classic country, hillbilly, western swing, electric bluegrass, surf instrumentals, and rockabilly — plus Brandon Wayne's own killer originals. His sweet nasal twang is one of the finest hillbilly voices on the scene today.

Brandon grew up with a banjo in his hand, and Central Virginia's country, bluegrass, and hillbilly traditions run deep in his blood. The band has honed their sound on their own monthly Charlottesville cable access show, "The Blue Ridge Barn Dance," and become regular favorites at Northside Grille, Death Ridge Brewery, and Chisholm Vineyards. In 2025, they were invited to play the Red, Hot and Blue Rockabilly Weekender in Canada and the Rockin' Race Jamboree in Spain — proof these guys are the real deal.
