The Thrills deliver spine-tingling rock ’n’ roll with the seasoned firepower of four longtime fixtures of the DC-area music scene. Fronted by acclaimed singer-songwriter David Kitchen on lead vocals and guitar, the band combines sharp original songs, commanding musicianship, and a deep appreciation for the rootsy, hard-driving sound of classic American rock ’n’ roll.

Guitarist Andy Rutherford adds standout guitar, slide work, and vocals, drawing on more than 35 years of acclaimed work with acts including The Thrillbillys, Ruthie and the Wranglers, and Little Pink. Bassist Johnny Combs brings four decades of experience performing with Evan Johns and the H-Bombs, Tex Rubinowitz, Pink and Black, and Doc Scantlin and the Imperial Palms Orchestra. On drums and vocals, Brian Alpert supplies the pulse, with a history spanning Cowboy Jazz, The Assassins, Doc Scantlin’s Imperial Palms Orchestra, and touring work with guitar legend Danny Gatton.
